WHO WE ARE

Ross Daynes established Shield Fire Consultancy in 2014 as an independent fire consultancy company that will only provide and recommend the services and improvements you need. 

 

Ross has served operationally as a fire officer since 2007, accumulating  over sixteen years experience in the fire safety sector. He is also a graduate member of the Institute of Fire Engineers and has a BSc (Hons) Combined Sciences.

Having worked independently as a Fire Safety Consultant since starting the company and building his own client base, Ross then further expanded the business in 2022, by acquiring the Fire Risk Assessment arm of Phoenix Fire Safety Solutions- an already established fire safety business.

 All services offered by Shield Fire are carried out by current and ex fire service personnel to ensure your premises or business complies with the current legislation including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Building Regulations. Our consultants and technicians hold various fire safety accreditations and qualifications and memberships with industry bodies such as the IFE, FDIS, IFSM and BAFE.
